Ankeny Fire Department Holds Annual Toys for Tots Drive-Thru Event

The Ankeny Fire Department is seeking donations for the Toys for Tots campaign to provide Christmas gifts for children in need.

A special drive-thru event will be held on December 14 at the Ankeny Fire Station Headquarters.

Participants can hand toys to firefighters from their vehicles.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys and books can also be dropped off at the fire station until December 19.

Last year, over 3,000 toys were collected thanks to the community's support.
