Ankeny High School's Varsity Boys Football team dominated Lincoln High with a score of 61-0 on Friday, Oct 24, 2025.

In Week 9 of Iowa high school football, they continued their winning streak.

They also beat Valley High with a score of 34-26 on Oct 17, 2025.

In Week 8, they secured victories against Ames and Sioux City East with scores of 55-3 and 26-20, respectively.

Despite a loss to Johnston High with a score of 21-30 on Oct 3, 2025, Ankeny's football team showed prowess throughout the season.

Week by week, they maintained their competitive spirit and skill on the field.
The Ankeny Business and Industry Collaborative hosts the Salute to Industry event in October each year to honor businesses making economic contributions.

Winners are selected by the Salute to Industry Committee in categories such as Commercial Investment, Reinvestment, Innovative Company, Community Impact, and more.

The event also recognizes CEO and individuals of vision.

However, they fell short against Dowling Catholic in a 10-27 loss on Oct 17, and Valley High School in a 7-24 loss on Oct 3.

Their upcoming games include matchups against Valley Tigers and Indianola Indians.

Week 9 of IHSAA football saw Ankeny Centennial succeeding, while Week 8 saw them facing defeats.

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is investing $5.7 million in 14 urban water quality projects across the state.

These projects will receive cost-share grants covering half of their total costs, with an overall investment of over $5.7 million.
